Another busy day, beginning with our church service at the lovely little church of St, Anne's in Bucks Mills, where Braunds have worshipped since it was built in 1862. Next, off to Merry Harriers for a lovely lunch. Then we managed to parallel an in-person and online event. The rain stopped in time for Chris to take a dozen members for a walking tour of Bucks Mills. At the same time, Janet, having rushed back home after the meal, did an online version of the same tour to members Zooming in from six different countries.
The online AGM was over in a record thirteen minutes and was followed by chatting and laughing with the Braunds online. Today's award must go to Liz from New Zealand, who had, by the time we switched off, been awake for 24 hours in order not to miss a minute of the online proceedings.
The only trouble with such a busy day was that I completely forgot to take any photographs. Here, thanks to Liz, are a few of us online, as well as some of Liz's Braund research papers.
Today there are more in-person and online opportunities. The programme is here. Get in touch for the Zoom link.
