Our Chairman, Chris Braund, has been awarded the honour 'Master Craftsman' of the Guild of One-Name Studies. This is a prestigious award, given to a handful of people for their services to one-name studies. Chris has been given this award for his long-standing work on the Braund family history, his help at past Guild events, including the running of one Guild conference in Bideford and the co-organising of another. He also regularly promotes the Guild at meetings of Devon Family History Society.
